Black and white photo of a woman with dark wavy hair stood in her art studio, smiling at the camera, with her hand on her hip, stood infront of her clay sculpture.

Born in Grimsby and now based in Cleethorpes, Faye Trickett works across sculpture and painting. Her practice focuses on the body as both form and surface, a place where vulnerability, value and quiet strength exist together.

Moving between figurative work and more intuitive approaches, she is drawn to materials that record touch and process, allowing gesture and subtle intervention to shape the final piece. Through colour and physical presence, the work explores themes of exposure, tension and transformation.
